Kenneth Sapanski
Kenneth Sapanski currently serves as the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer & Director of Mortgage Banking since 2019. Prior to his current position, he was an Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Hanover Community Bank since 2012. Sapanski possesses over 40 years of banking experience and 20 years as a senior bank executive.
In his role at FCSB, Sapanski is responsible for ensuring cross-organizational lending alignment and facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as monitoring oversight of key lending organizational priorities. Sapanski is directly responsible for multiple divisions within the bank including credit risk management/loan administration, loan underwriting, loan servicing, and mortgage banking operations. Under his leadership, his operating units have delivered solid results, underpinned by careful, thoughtful loan growth, product variation, pristine asset quality, and industry-leading credit risk management practices for small to mid-sized financial institutions.
Sapanski has overseen the development of residential and mortgage banking operations at various banks with over $1.8 billion in originations over the past eight years while establishing capital market opportunities for mortgage loan sales recognizing significant gains in non-interest income.
